The Office

This is the new office at Ricky's. I sit on the right against the wall. Which is the only place in the basement that our cell phones work.

And this is the view I have all day.....Ricky!

Cocoa Puffs make the world go round

Splashing and Screaming

This was at the chestatee river last friday. Jack was playing in the river, and then just decided to plop right down, and sit and splash!! He had so much fun, once he realized he could splash and scream as much as he wanted. ( we try to keep splashing to a minimum while in the bath)
He is growing up so quick!! Last weekend he started drinking out of juice boxes, which for a few weeks there he would drink and squeeze them and cause apple juice to drench his clothes. Now...he knows he can only have one if he doesnt squeeze it, he learned fast. Juice boxes are like dessert for him, since he never has straight juice, its watered down alot.

CAT DIARY: Day 983 of my captivity. My captors continue to taunt me with bizarre little dangling objects. They dine lavishly on fresh meat, while the other inmates and I are fed hash or some sort of dry nuggets. Although I make my contempt for the rations perfectly clear, I neverthelessmust eat something in order to keep up my strength. The only thing that keeps me going is my dream of escape. In an attempt to disgust them, I once again vomit on the carpet. Today I decapitated a mouse and dropped its headless body at their feet. I had hoped this would strike fear into their hearts, since it clearly Demonstrates what I am capable of. However, they merely made condescending comments about what a 'good little hunter' I am. Bastards!

There was some sort of assembly of their accomplices tonight. I was placed in solitary confinement for the duration of the event. However, I could hear the noises and smell the food. I overheard that my confinement was due to the power of 'allergies.' I must learn what this means, and how to use it to my advantage. This morning? I was almost successful in an attempt to assassinate one of my tormentors by weaving around his feet as he was walking. I must try this again tomorrow-- but at the top of the stairs. I am convinced that the other prisoners here are flunkies and snitches. The dog receives special privileges. He is regularly released - and seems to be more than willing to return. He is obviously retarded. The bird has got to be an informant. I observe him communicate with the guards regularly. I am certain that he reports my every move. My captors have arranged protective custody for him in an elevated cell, so he is safe. For now... Cat

Racism or just plain funny???

Please take a moment to look over to the right...under people I blog stalk. Do you see a new link?? Its called Stuff White People Like. And I encourage you to take a look, and see what you think. My favorite is Interships....you may think its racist or funny, but either way you have to admit this site shows that not only white people sterotype others...in fact they are sterotyped themselves.

Im turning into one of them!

Last night, i went to our awesome neighbors house, Eddie and Melissa's, and got another "southern" lesson. The first one was how to gut a fish in the kitchen sink, but butter on it and bbq it! I didnt participate it that one of course. But last night I learned to string beans and fry squash in flour and corn meal. Then Melissa sent me home with a crap load of produce from their HUGE garden that you could feed an army with and I strung beans while I talked to Shawn about our days. I think I might be liking this "southern" things a little too much. You'll know I've crossed over to the dark side when I think that eating a meal at a "cafe/diner" thats attached to a gas station is normal....until them Im going to have to rely on the folks in CA to keep me grounded.
